Mallory Chick , DPT, PT
After obtaining a B.S. in Clinical Health Sciences with minors in Art and Psychology, Mal went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York. While pursuing her degrees, Mal experienced a variety of PT settings including in-patient acute therapy, outpatient orthopedic therapy and outpatient neurological therapy. While in these clinics she fell in love with working with people toward their functional goals and making therapy as fun and relatable as possible. She loves sharing her PT knowledge with her patients and is always looking for ways to improve her techniques and expand her therapy “toolbox” as they say! In the future she hopes to pursue working with adaptive athletes to help them be the best athlete they can be while avoiding injury.
In her free time Mal enjoys weightlifting, playing soccer, volunteering at a dog rescue, kickboxing, cooking new recipes, eating dark chocolate, watching movies, and playing board games with friends. She is almost always down to try new things (however, when she dances, people have been known to ask if she is in pain). In the future Mal wants to adopt a rescue dog and pursue new endeavors such as the pottery wheel and craftsmanship!
